Job Description General Summary: Vertex Pharmaceuticals has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Scientist to join the In-vitro Pharmacology/Electrophysiology group within the Pharmacology Department. We are seeking a motivated, creative, and innovative scientist with a deep understanding of ion channel physiology and pharmacology. A successful candidate will have broad, hands-on experience using a range of in vitro cellular assays. Preference will be given to candidates with extensive experience with patch clamp electrophysiology, MEA, Ca2+-imaging etc. working with primary cells, including human cells. Experience with data analytics and computational modeling & simulation is highly valued. A successful candidate will demonstrate a strong desire to collaborate within a multidisciplinary drug discovery team. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

#LI-BS1 Pay Range: $120,880 - $181,320Disclosure Statement: The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting.
