You will work closely with our clients, engineering teams, and other professionals to ensure that projects meet and exceed industry standards. Responsibilities

This position is a hybrid model that will require commuting to our Atlanta, GA office.

    Lead the architectural design and planning for projects within the higher education, K-12, healthcare, governmental, and general commercial markets.
  • Conduct comprehensive code analysis and ensure strict adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Oversee code conformance, ensuring that all designs meet or exceed established guidelines.
  • Oversee and participate in peer reviews to maintain high-quality architectural standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and clients, to develop innovative and practical architectural solutions.
  • Prepare and present project proposals, design concepts, and progress updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in building codes, regulations, and industry trends, and ensure project compliance.
  • Perform field verifications / site walks to identify, verify, resolve, and incorporate solutions into design packages. May troubleshoot design problems in the field during construction.


Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited architectural program.

  • A Registered Architect (RA) license in good standing with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • The ability to lead a project team and manage the workload of multiple projects of varying complexity.
  • Proven experience in code analysis and understanding of building codes and regulations (such as egress, fire-resistant assemblies, occupancy, and building types).
  • Proficiency in relevant design software and tools, such as Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Experience performing field verifications and site walks to identify, verify, resolve, and incorporate solutions into design packages. Ability to troubleshoot design problems in the field.
  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
