Overview

Plans, monitors and manages internal programs from initiation through completion | Leads or coordinates programs, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, troubleshooting and indirect people management | Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions | Responsibilities are within the Project Management Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines.



Major Position Responsibilities

    Has P&L responsibilities for a specific program
  • Implements and administers one or more corporate programs, typically consisting of multiple programs or sub-programs.
  • Executes programs that meet the needs of the organization or its employees or customers.
  • Participates in all aspects of corporate programs, including planning, budgeting, staffing, and performance.
  • Promotes the program throughout the organization and tracks utilization.
  • Supervises the work of program or project staff to ensure that work in completed on time or in accordance with established standards or specifications.
  • Evaluates program effectiveness by collecting and analyzing data in support of key performance metrics.
  • Ensures that activities are in compliance with organizational policies and any relevant external regulations.

Provides reports and updates to senior management or other stakeholders.

  • Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field
  • Manages a large-scale organizational program or process with multiple internal and external system application integration, system migrations, hardware and/or architecture redesigns
  • Impact is on the entire project and Business Unit/function

Functional Leadership

Government Contracting & Negotiation (FAR clauses, TINA proposals, Weighted Guidelines, etc); International Business Experience (ITAR, FMS, TAA's, MLA's, Offsets, etc); AS9100 Quality System experience / familiarity. Ability to develop and mentor others. Management skills. Leadership skills. Oral and written communication skills. Ability to build collaborative relationships. Detail oriented. Ability to meet deadlines. Program management skills.



Basic Qualifications

Required Education: Associate's Degree. Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education & Experience

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree / Bussiness Degree preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to develop and mentor others. Management skills. Oral and written communication skills. Ability to build collaborative relationships. Detail oriented. Ability to meet deadlines. Project management skills.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Characteristics of the Role:
Business Experts - Professionals

Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.

Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.

Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

Less than 25% travel likely.



Pay Range (USD)

125,685 -233,415


Additional Compensation

Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company's Gain Sharing Program.
