Responsibilities



  • Work as part of a development team to build, test, and release mobile apps (Android and iOS devices) and web apps
  • Work with product teams across ArcGIS to influence upcoming development
  • Evaluate and provide feedback on new software designs through design and implementation reviews
  • Perform in-field testing and customer workflow evaluation to ensure product quality and release readiness
  • Write conceptual topics, blog articles, and step-by-step tutorials geared towards GIS staff or mobile workers to aid in the deployment of our apps


Requirements



  • 2+ years of experience with ArcGIS software or other geospatial technology
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Passion and ability to deliver quality work in a timely and efficient manner, in teams or individually
  • Proficiency in a modern software language, such as Python, JavaScript, Swift, or Kotlin
  • Bachelor's in GIS, computer science, or a related field


Recommended Qualifications



  • Proven ability to define, manage, and deliver geospatial solutions
  • Prior experience with software development and release of commercial software products
  • Master's in GIS, computer science, or a related field
