The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture is a state wide campus, with faculty based on University campuses, at Research and Extension Centers and in every Arkansas county. https://aaes.uada.edu/research-locations/southwest-research-extension-center/ Summary of Job Duties:Feeds and cares for livestock. Collects samples for analysis. Measures and sorts cattle into experimental units. Assist with care of stocker cattle. Assist with cow/heifer calving. Perform fence, equipment, and building maintenance. Collect and maintain farm equipment and vehicles and perform routine scheduled maintenance. Collect data. Report results to supervisor. Keep records of test animals and report problems to supervisor. Insure best practices are implemented.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or director of SWREC. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: A formal education equivalent of a high school diploma, plus one year of experience in farming operations.

Preferred Qualifications: AR Pesticide Applicator License
