https://forms.gle/HB4Z1L2YCAb75bXPA Summary of Job Duties:Program Support will help create a fun, engaging, but structured and safe environment during Children International's virtual or in person programs for K-12th grades and their families! The Program Support will also be responsible for helping to facilitate group activities, preparing program materials, recordkeeping,and connecting with CI families (in-person or through phone calls). Program Support weekly hours will depend on availability and program schedule. Support staff will report to the CI Program Coordinator for their assigned age/program area. This is a temporary grant-funded hourly position for the current academic year and will not be eligible for benefits. You must be able to provide proof of a Work Study Award for the current semester to be eligible. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy. Qualifications: Required Education and/or Experience:
  • High school diploma plus previous work or volunteer experience working with children or youth

Preferred Education and/or Experience:

  • Preferred: One (1) year in college, tutoring experience, &/or Spanish.

Job Duties and/or Responsibilities:

  • Provide facilitation support to assigned CI programs
  • Make family engagement calls with support from the Programs Team
  • Able to understand and use Zoom or other online platform features to support virtual delivery
  • Review homework assignments and work with students in completing and check for accuracy
  • Support classroom management & small group and/or one-on-one sessions
  • Recordkeeping and entering program data
  • Attend regular training provided by CI
  • Assist with CI program/event preparation and post-event clean up

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to function virtual sessions based on Zoom, google suites, and other platforms

  • At least 18 years of age and able to provide own reliable transportation to program site
  • Energetic and passionate about being a role model for all youth
  • Ability to facilitate and supervise primary and/or secondary grade level students
  • Strong communication (written & verbal) and teamwork skills
  • Be accountable for the safety of the youth and children under supervision.
  • Proficiency in Spanish Language and/or Bilingual translation is helpful.
  • Must be available for scheduled shifts.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
