Required Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education;

• Regular admission to a UA Little Rock graduate degree program or good standing with the UA Little Rock Graduate School for continuing graduate students;

• Ability to work the required hours (FT-50% - 20 hours per week/PT-25% - 10 hours per week) with regular attendance

Preferred Education and/or Experience:

• Strong background in (real-time) computer graphics, game engines, human-computer interaction, or machine learning.

• Experience in software-development processes or digital workflows preferred

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participate in supervised as well as non-supervised research and development of EAC projects

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficient in advanced computer literacy including automation technologies

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or JavaScript.

• We expect familiarity with one or more of the following: Experience with computer-graphics APIs (e.g., OpenGL, DirectX, Vulkan) and frameworks (e.g., Unity, Unreal) or interactive software frameworks (e.g., Flutter/Kotlin, Angular JS)

• Machine-learning software frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data analysis techniques.

• For Cyber Security web development, data bases, machine learning, and cloud API's

• Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a passion for research.

• Familiarity with reading and analyzing scientific publications and writing project documentation
