UAM is a comprehensive, residential and commuter, undergraduate institution also offering selected master's degree programs. Department's Website: Each EMT course should be taught by an EMT provider who has been licensed at the Ambulance, Intermediate, or Paramedic level for a minimum of 2 continuous years, has completed and is current in approval as a Basic Life Support Instructor (AHA or ARC), and has successfully completed the 40-hour DOT-National Standard Curriculum EMT-Instructor Course. Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
