Director, Chemical Engineering and Technical Support
Overview The Director of Engineering and Technical Support job exists to coordinate and oversee all Chemical Engineering, Chemistry Technical Support, Controls and Automation, and Column Packing activities in the Taunton manufacturing facility. One of the main activities is supporting the start-up of the newly qualified Taunton Precision Chemistry Plant. The Taunton plant produces all of Waters chromatography media utilizing chemical processing equipment. The new plant has a high level of automation including a Manufacturing Execution System (MES). This position also directs the Taunton technical team with supporting production activities and oversees new product development and transfer to production, coordination of equipment & process changes and planning and execution of process validations. This position acts as member of the Taunton site leadership team, accountable for achieving overall plant goals and contributing to overall site strategy development and execution Responsibilities
Responsible for the Engineering and Chemistry Technical Support activities in the new Taunton Precision Chemistry Plant.
