Goldbelt Apex, LLC is headquartered in Juneau, Alaska with offices in Herndon, Virginia.

Summary:

Goldbelt APEX LLC is looking for a Social and Behavioral Scientist II/Principal Investigator for a five-year contract. This role involves designing and implementing research studies, analyzing data, and disseminating findings through publications and presentations.

Primary places of performance will be onsite (estimated 50%) and remote (estimated 50%).


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Conducts research and development activities supporting behavioral health efforts for the military.
  • Responsible for designing and conducting experiments and program evaluations, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and writing technical reports and manuscripts.
  • Expected to travel to military installations for data collection.
  • Expected to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and co-workers, assist with the implementation of initiatives, and provide consultation as needed.
  • Takes the lead on projects and functions as a principal investigator and is accountable for the execution of protocols.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of research design, statistical software packages, and proposal writing required.
  • Knowledge of writing curriculum related to psychological resilience and generating training modules for military audiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in behavioral science
  • Minimum five (5) years of combined experience in the field of study or related areas
  • US Citizen
  • Able to obtain SECRET

The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000 per year.
