Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Logistics Management Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing all aspects of logistics. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Directly supports program managers performing tasking associated with clinical engineering, hospital facility management, environmental services or acquisition projects
  • Prepares integrated logistic plans and policy and procedures for logistic support for major healthcare systems
  • Ensures that proper logistic considerations are included in the system development processes at each major milestone. Performs analyses to determine system maintainability, reliability, and supportability requirements
  • Documents results of the analyses in a report format. Develops systems maintenance concepts and plans and lifecycle supply requirements and processes to meet supply requirements
  • Performs cost analysis associated with systems logistic support and develops and reviews systems acquisition projects' operating plans and procedures to ensure logistic support considerations are included

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge and proficiency in the use of systems such as DMLSS, GCSS-A, AESIP, and TEWLS
  • Knowledge of cataloging and creating NSNs
  • Requesting new NSNs
  • Sourcing initiatives with DLA
  • Monitored orders through DLA
  • Experience updating BOMs (Billing of Material)
  • DoD Acquisition experience critical
  • Working knowledge and experience with DMLSS, JMAR, GCSS-A, and TEWLS
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including MS Teams
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards
  • Knowledge and experience with DoD Acquisition Processes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. Years of experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Minimum 7 to 9 years' experience providing logistic support for major systems.
  • DAU Course certifications are helpful.
  • Able to obtain CAC.
  • Previous experience with the Department of Defense.

The salary for this position is a maximum of $100,000.00 annually.
