Job Description:

This position provides support for Operations through the maintenance of semiconductor process equipment using established, written procedures. This position works with the Operations team to achieve a safe and highly efficient production environment. This role will be filled by a highly skilled specialist who will contribute to the growth of our maintenance team. This person will complete complex maintenance tasks with the support of Engineering and Vendor resources. This is a role for an advanced or Senior Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities:

  • Consistently work on complex maintenance assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve the equipment issues.
  • Act independently to determine methods and procedures for addressing new or undocumented equipment issues.
  • Perform equipment start-up, modifications, upgrades, troubleshooting and maintenance on production and R&D systems.
  • This role will interact directly with process engineering and process technicians.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on semiconductor and panel process equipment.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment in accordance with specifications.
  • Generate work instructions for maintenance procedures and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Perform root-cause troubleshooting of semiconductor and panel equipment.
  • Assist with new equipment installation.
  • Assist with equipment calibrations.
  • Assist with recovery from equipment/facilities down events. This involves product recovery and tool re-qualification training.
  • Expectation of role is the ability to operate the process equipment in the area of expertise.
  • Act as a facilitator and team lead.
  • This can be either 1st or 2nd shift, 9/80 work schedule M-F.

Requirements:

  • 2-year technical degree/background, military technical training, and/or the combined equivalent of experience and education.
  • Minimum of 6 years of total relevant experience, 4 years in semiconductor equipment maintenance or semiconductor field service.
  • Extensive knowledge of certain areas in a semiconductor environment (i.e. Photo, Deposition, Metrology, etc.)
  • Knowledge of basic machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. (i.e. vacuum pumps, leak checkers, hand tools, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
  • Proficient in computer applications using Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Must be physically able to lift to waist level and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be physically able to climb, stoop, bend, kneel, and crawl to reach work.
  • Must have HazMat experience.
  • PPE: chemical apron, face shield, chemical gloves, chemical suit, respirator.
  • Organized, neat, detail-oriented, conscientious, and thorough.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Flexibility in your work schedule and the ability to work overtime on short notice.
  • US Citizenship required for a DoD cleared facility.

Cubic Pay Range:

$36.60 hourly - $50.33 hourly + benefits.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
