DEA's New York City office is looking for an experienced Tunneling Construction Manager. The responsibilities will be diverse and will include overseeing specialized contractors and personnel. You will schedule and coordinate all construction processes so that projects meet design specifications. You will also ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. As the Tunneling Construction Manager, you are responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a construction project.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Monitor and oversee projects
  • Deliver high-quality, technically accurate reports using Project Management Institute principals
  • Effectively communicate to all stakeholders using excellent verbal and written communication



Basic Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 12 years of project management experience in tunnel construction
  • At least 6 years of experience writing construction documentation that reported on cost, scope, schedule, and risk
  • Experience monitoring the progress of a boring operation and ability to quantify any impacts associated with schedule or risk
  • Experience in Earth Pressure Balance tunneling method



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Program (PgMP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
