DEA's Inland NW group is looking to add aTransportation Project Managerwho will participate inProject Management and Business Development activities for either our Roads and Highways or Bridge and Structures group. This position can be located inSpokane, WA, Tri-Cities, WA, Coeur d'Alene, ID, Boise, ID or Pocatello, ID.Responsibilities for our Transportation Project Manager will include but are not limited to the following:

* Serve as a pursuit champion and project manager as appropriate for bridge, local roadway, freeway, highway corridor, and interchange planning and design projects

* Ensure excellence in project execution for on-time, on-budget deliverables of quality that meet or exceed the industry's standard of care

* Provide design leadership and guidance to project teams and staff. Review engineering documents and deliverables for compliance with contractual requirements as part of DEA's Quality Management requirements

* Attracting, developing, and retaining key talent; set expectations and manage performance

* Partner with appropriate Business Unit staff to support employee development and career growth opportunities for project delivery staff

* Working with the Group Leader to ensure the group meets Business Unit metrics and DEA's stated key results including, but not limited to, sales, backlog, growth, utilization, accounts receivable, employee satisfaction, team satisfaction, client satisfaction, profit, at-work revenue factor, operating income, and days sales outstanding

* Adhere to firmwide tools, processes, and policies including project accounting (set up, budgeting, etc.), contracting, and quality requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

* 15+ plus years of transportation engineering experience with 3+ years as a project manager or design team lead on transportation related projects

* Professional Engineering License in Idaho and Washington or the ability to obtain in 6 months

* Project experience with agencies such as Idaho Transportation Department (ITD), Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT), Local Highway Technical Assistance Council (LHTAC), and other local agencies

* Understanding of OpenRoads Designer and ability experience with leading roadway or bridge design and plan development

  • Potential salary range for this position is $110,000-180,000 depending on location and experience
