Summary of Position Reporting to the Executive Director of Strategy, Insights, and Operations for Strategic Marketing and Communications (SM+C) the Director of Operations (Finance and Administration) oversees the budget development and management, tracking and forecasting, financial planning, and financial data management; while also providing leadership and oversight to the management and coordination of all human resource activities including hiring, compensation, workforce planning, and implementing policies in conformance to university and HR policy and practice. The Director acts as a catalyst for change, supporting the development and implementation of policies, practices, and Finance and HR strategies that enable the department to accomplish broader strategic goals. Working in close collaboration with colleagues across campus, the Director serves as the department expert in finance and human resources policies and procedures, and industry best practices.
