Responsibilities The Requirements Engineer's primary duties are to support the requirements management and verification process, to include requirements definition, development contractor specification development, requirements flow-down and changes, traceability, analysis, allocation, verification and sell-off. In conjunction with these responsibilities, the Requirements Engineer will also contribute to the development and maintenance of all configuration and change management within the Customer organization, supporting tracking and archiving of all acquisition Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and drafting, reviewing and publishing Request for Change (RFC) documents. The Requirements Engineer will also support the program risk and opportunity identification and management process, and is responsible for documenting opportunities and risks to programs, assisting in development and tracking of mitigation and corrective action plans, identifying methods to implement opportunities, and supporting maintenance of program opportunity and risk database in coordination with the risk, issue and opportunity management processes.
