Applied Industrial Technologies (NYSE: AIT) is looking for an E-Business Account Analyst who will be responsible for transforming inbound online opportunities into repeat customers. The individual should understand how to creatively handle various online and marketing tools, and work to coordinate advertising, promotional and digital campaigns to grow Applied's digital sales footprint. Job Duties

  • Engage with customers through email, chat, phone, video, and SMS
  • Develop campaigns to grow digital sales-implement email marketing campaigns with Midwest Area
  • Provides technical advice and guidance related to problems involving user interface, browser, and site navigation.
  • Communicates with internal and external customers related to projects, functionality, implementations, and changes to business rules/document processing due to E-Business integrations
  • Achieve company goals of sales qualified lead conversion to customer
  • Remain in regular contact with your customers to understand and meet their needs, and provide quotes as well as process orders
  • Personal lead management and follow through on current digital opportunities to close new orders
  • Keep detailed records of sales and data with the CRM
  • Provide interchanges when requested
  • Create or maintain spreadsheets to increase match rates from competitor part data
  • Occasionally work with vendors to identify and price large lists of unmatched/ POR lines
  • Assist in special projects

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in E-Business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to articulate information verbally, visually, and in written format across all levels of the company.
  • Proficient end-user of software.
  • Ability to coordinate tasks and priorities across multiple projects.
  • General knowledge of E-Business daily activities.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business analytic skill sets including a high level of proficiency in Microsoft EXCEL.
  • Must have the ability to set priorities, manage a diverse set of job responsibilities with effective organizational skills, and work within deadlines.
  • Goal and results oriented individual who can accomplish tasks at a fast pace and demonstrate the ability to set priorities.
