Job Title: 1650 FT Deposit Services Manager - Jasper, IN Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: The energetic and friendly Deposit Services Manager will be leading two teams: Deposit Operations and Document & Item Processing. This eager individual will be a strong leader who values team member engagement and leading process changes. Deposit Services is continually challenged with complex situations that requires judgment and logical thinking, and this person will need to lean on experience for exercising their decision making skillset. This Manager should possess a client experience mindset, as this role leads teams who serve internal clients who are serving external clients. Driving this mindset and kind approach throughout their team will be key. What You'll Do: As the leader, you will be charged with reviewing and establishing SLAs for your teams that meet or exceed our internal partner expectations. There are many daily and regularly scheduled tasks that require oversight and quality assurance review, and you will be responsible for observing, listening, and working with your leadership team for listening to team member feedback and developing optimum processes and efficiencies. As a Manager, you will serve on key projects in the bank, including M&A activities and continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, this role will be a coach and developer for strong talent. Building the bench is key for success in this position. Alongside with these strong leadership qualities, you will partner with Retail, Treasury Management, Compliance, BSA, Application Support, Training, Branch Administration, and other teams throughout the bank. The Deposit Operations Team is responsible for supporting our retail partners to provide servicing of all deposit products, both traditional (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs) and electronic (ACH, wire transfer, etc.). Some team activities include quality control of documents and the core system, processing of legal documents, processing Reg E disputes, working NSF and non-posts daily, managing and completing maintenance to accounts. The Document & Item Processing Team is responsible for reviewing and balancing of internal accounts, processing check returns and chargebacks, printing and mailing of central issued debit cards, scanning and indexing customer documents for new deposit accounts, monitoring of past due safe deposit boxes, completing annual review of abandoned accounts, and more.
