Machine Operator I-Weekend Days

Our company is seeking hard working Machine Operators to help in our print operations. We are a light manufacturing company that produces contactless payment cards for customers. The Machine Operator is responsible for producing high quality products per customer specifications.

Major Responsibilities

Read the job ticket to understand the customer and company requirements and produce product that meet the requirements.
• Set up print heads, chip programming and mag stripe encoding per the job requirements.
• Ensure quality of product by inspecting all aspects of the personalized cards at predetermined intervals.
• Accurately perform all quality checks to ensure products meet specifications, and report all quality concerns immediately.
• Set-up, trouble-shoot and maintain machinery to assure down time is minimal.
• Participate in the training and orientation of new employees as required.
• Train and coach temporary employees and assistants assigned.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years machine operating experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Computer experience, high mechanical aptitude, strong troubleshooting skills
• Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary
• Ability and willingness to lead small work groups of machine assistants

Meet physical requirements:

• Stand for long periods of time. All jobs require the ability to lift, move, push or pull up to 50lbs
• Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination
• Good vision with the ability to distinguish color

Preferred Skills:

• Printing or graphics experience
• Manufacturing experience with mechanical ability
