We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Coordinator to join our New York team. As a BD Coordinator, you will be accountable for supporting the NYC team in bringing the capabilities of PULLMAN to the local market. You will collaborate with our Business Development staff and Operations teams to support day-to-day efforts developing solutions that meet the needs of our valued clients.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:




  • Participating in web-based meetings, in person meetings, email, and phone calls with PULLMAN current and potential clients as needed, to provide technical support to business development efforts.



  • Assisting with drafts of proposals and necessary revisions.



  • Assisting with assembly of bid packages and submittals.



  • Attending job-site walks and pre-bid meetings as needed.



  • Drafting and supporting development of technical packages for submission on projects and for internal discussions.



  • Participating in project review calls in support of BDM efforts.



  • Drafting summaries of projects for use as case histories on website as well as abstracts for submission to technical conferences.



  • Collaborating on developing market content for use in e-blast newsletters and on the pipelines portion of the Structural Technologies website.



  • Attending professional conferences, trade shows, seminars and participate in industry events as needed to provide technical support to BDM team.



  • Local travel 50-75%.





Successful candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered:




  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering, Marketing, Sales or a related field of study.



  • 1+ years of experience in a professional environment related in civil/structural engineering or construction industries.



  • Strong understanding of sales functions, procedures and standards along with structural and civil engineering concepts and practices.



  • Ability to interface well with all levels of the organization internally as well as externally with partner agencies and customers.



  • Strong verbal and written communication skills



  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applicants including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
