Non-Standard Missile Strategic Program Manager

In support of the AMCOM SAMD Non-standard Missile Activity, Torch is seeking strategic program support for programs such as Hawk. Directs the overall management of the Program Management technical and/or non-technical staff function through subordinate managers. This is the top-level manager in this function responsible for productivity, expense levels and asset management. Rarely becomes involved in day-to-day operational problems; is more concerned to see that overall budgets, schedules, and performance standards are realistically set and attained. Duties might include executing strategic plans to address emerging non-standard missile missions, deployment of non-standard missile capability, and addressing long-term program and logistic support for these activities. The successful candidate will be integrated into a larger multi-organizational team representing multiple government organizations and several contractors. The mission we face is high paced and demanding. The successful candidate will need to be able to rapidly fit into this challenging environment.

We are seeking a person, preferably with prior military experience, who has worked in Pentagon, Joint Command, or 2-start or better organizations with the following background.

• Strategic Planning
• Proficient at Tracking and Executing Actions
• FMS Experience
• Demonstrated Communication skills suitable to brief GS-15/O-6 level through the GO/SES level.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with an advanced degree in engineering or business preferred. A minimum of 12 years functional and program managementexperience.
