Responsibilities:
*Support sustainment activities and Upgrades on existing material handling systems.
*Supports new development and design activities
*Supports simple and complex designs of parts and sub-system of complex machines. This includes design of machined, extruded, sheet metal and plastic parts.
*Perform site audits to collect required data.
*Support the installation of mechanical upgrades.
*Create Purchase Requests and Parts Order Entry
*Provide technical support for Estimating, Sales, Engineering teams, and Field Operations. What we offer:

  • Knowledge of Machine Design
  • Ability to learn to maintain and repair material handling systems
  • Knowledge of CAD design software including AutoCAD, NX
  • Familiarization with Computer Systems and Technologies.
  • Ability to solve design issues and implement effective and cost-efficient solutions.
  • Proven communications skills, flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team of solution-oriented professionals
  • Candidates must be pursuing a 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering and have a GPA of 3.0 or above and be able to start on an agreed upon date with a work schedule to be determined based on the requirements of both Dematic and the candidate.
