Position Title: Warehouse Coordinator

Location: Assembly Drive, Rockford, IL 61109

Department:Warehouse

Shift: Third Shift

Reporting To: Commercial Warehouse Supervisor

Responsible For (Staff): None

The primary function of this position is to coordinate the scheduling of inbound shipments of components and raw materials, facilitate PCI Rockford waste management system, schedule maintenance on forklifts, and track warehouse related metrics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the scheduling of inbound shipments of components and raw materials.

  • Maintain the daily schedule of inbound and outbound vehicles.

  • Act as a liaison between the Warehouse and all other departments in matters pertaining to transportation and logistics.

  • Coordinate with the waste hauler for pickup of waste and recyclables. Coordinate with vendors to schedule maintenance on forklifts.

  • Gather and track warehouse related metrics.

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure the proper segregation of recyclables.

  • Act as a liaison between Receiving and Planning to ensure components are received as necessary to keep with the production schedule.

  • Assist in the duties of "Training" for the Warehouse department.

  • Assist in writing or updating departmental work practices and company SOP's. Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

  • This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.

  • Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.

  • Attendance to work is an essential function of this position.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Skills Testing at approved grade level for position.

  • Basic Mathematical Skills

  • Basic Computer Skills: Ability to perform basic computer tasks and has the ability to operate common computer programs.

  • Minimum Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak in a way that allows one to participate effectively in various conversations. Ability to read various types of standard items addressed to general readers.

  • Intermediate Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions that may be furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems that involve several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Preferred:

  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.

  • Ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction.

  • Ability to display original thinking and creativity.

  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

  • High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
