The Category Manager will be accountable for approximately $200M in annual spend. In this role you will have responsibility for leading cross functional efforts to develop and implement category plans across both direct and indirect spend categories that include cost reductions initiatives, new product development, supply base optimization, quality and service improvement, risk management, contract negotiation, and supplier management across 5 sites globally for PCI's Development & Manufacturing business segment. You will lead the development and implementation of strategies and goals for category management activities in support of the overall business segment objectives. You will formulate and implement processes to build a best-in-class category management organization. You are a resident expert in category management and procurement practices and serves as a mentor to others. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has built and implemented a category management framework and has proven experience negotiating and managing contracts across various spend categories.
