Post-Doctoral Research Fellow- Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology - Lab of Dr. Lin Guo

A post-doctoral position is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Lin Guo, at Thomas Jefferson University to study protein aggregation, protein phase separation, and to develop therapeutic strategies to reverse protein aggregation and aberrant phase transition in the context of neurodegenerative diseases (Guo et al, Cell. 2018, 173(3):677-692.). The laboratory is located in a newly renovated space of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Candidates with an expected or recent Ph.D. and a strong research track record are encouraged to apply. We seek to hire an outstanding experimentalist with demonstrated experience in protein biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, nucleic acid research, or single molecule biophysics.
