We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Interventional Pulmonologist to join our team at Jefferson Bucks Hospital. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and expanding our interventional pulmonary program, providing high-quality care to patients with complex airway diseases and related conditions. Key Responsibilities: middot; Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventional pulmonary procedures, including bronchoscopy (flexible and rigid) and medical thoracoscopy. middot; Conduct outpatient clinics (TBD), initially starting one day per week in the operating room , with the goal of expanding as patient volume grows. middot; Provide inpatient consult services and collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care. middot; Develop and implement a pleural disease service, including a medical thoracoscopy program. middot; Participate in the education and training of residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals. middot; Cover procedures during the vacation times of the main interventional pulmonary program. middot; Work closely with the Director of Interventional Pulmonology to grow the program into a full-time service line. middot; Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical research projects. middot; Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team, demonstrating empathy and compassion. Qualifications: middot; Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. middot; Board certification in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. middot; Fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonology. middot; Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Pennsylvania. middot; Strong clinical skills and experience in interventional pulmonary procedures. middot; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. middot; Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement. Preferred Qualifications: middot; Experience in developing and growing clinical programs. middot; Academic experience with a track record of teaching and mentoring medical trainees. middot; Participation in clinical research and publication in peer-reviewed journals.
