Job Summary:

Responsible for the operation and administration of Jefferson#39;s retirement plans, including all Jefferson-sponsored Defined Contribution Plans, Defined Benefit Plans, and nonqualified retirement plans.

-Functions as a subject matter expert on retirement-related matters; provides strategic direction and thought leadership regarding Jefferson#39;s retirement offerings; maintains up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations; keeps abreast of trends in the retirement industry.

-Proactively coordinates and plans workflows and day-to-day activities to effectively manage Jefferson#39;s retirement program; oversees daily administration of all retirement-related activities, including ensuring that retirement plan data and plan documents are appropriately and accurately maintained, overseeing the remittance of funds to Defined Contribution Recordkeepers in accurate and timely manner, serving as a liaison to Finance and third party recordkeepers and Administrators to ensure that plan administration is proceeding appropriately; Works with key internal stakeholders to create efficiencies in plan adminstration and operationalization; conducts quarterly stewardship meetings to proper oversight of the retirement program.

-Ensures the timely and accurate completion of compliance testing and submission of all compliance filings (Forms 5500, 8855-SA, PBGC 4010, etc.); works with outside consultants and subject matter experts, consistent with Jefferson policy, to ensure the overall compliance of Jefferson#39;s retirement program with relevant laws and regulations, including ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code; oversees all pension audit activities, including organizing, reviewing, and coordinating annual Form 5500 audit activities.

-Collaborates across functions and works with key internal stakeholders to ensure that Jefferson employees, physicians and residents receive appropriate communications about retirement plan benefits.

-Provides direct supervision, guidance, training, and performance evaluation to the retirement team staff; works with Jefferson leadership on matters of significance to the Jefferson Enterprise; serves as the next point of escalation for participants with retirement-related inquiries and concerns

Qualifications:

- Bachelorrsquo;s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field; 7+ years of experience in retirement administration required

-Masterrsquo;s Degree; SPHR or CCP preferred
