The Research Coordinator will assist in the coordination of research activities within the definition of study protocols, recruitment of patients, assists withIRBpreparation and submission, prepares for study site visits, maintains all necessary records, and provides regular communication between the study principal investigator (PI) patients and other health care providers and researchers related to the study. There is an opportunity to work with diverse clinical specialties, on clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies within the Department of Medicine. The Research Coordinator will instruct patients and/or family members in all aspects of participation within the clinical study. This is all under the direct supervision of the PI and other designated personnel. Einsteinrsquo;s Department of Medicine has an established innovative research program with federal grants, academic research and clinical trials. There will be an opportunity to work on multiple research projects especially within Hepatology Division. An ideal candidate will have some experience in clinical research and regulatory work.
