Registered Dietitian - Einstein Medical Center - Part Time - 16hrs Weekly

The Registered Dietician (RD) provides clinical nutrition services to patients living with HIV. The RD meets with patients to assess their health status, nutrition goals, dietary restrictions, and medication side effects.They evaluate food access concerns including food insecurity, need for SNAP assistance, MANNA, Meals on Wheels and assist with applications for food delivery programs and food bank services. The RD tracks clients#39; dietary intake and progress and educates patients on how to maintain culturally appropriate balanced diet within their goals.

The RD collaborates with medical team including primary provider, social work and mental health counselor to design nutrition plan to meet client goal, and refer to medical subspecialty as needed.
