Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health has an exciting opportunity to grow and lead a highly unique research program in the nationrsquo;s only full Department of Integrative Medicine in a medical college!This is a senior research/ clinical research position at the Associate Professor or Professor level, with proven track record in translational research. The position requires a highly collaborative approach with faculty and staff within the department and across the Jefferson enterprise. The research focus of the department is to test innovative and integrative therapies and models of care with a strong emphasis on mechanism of action. Therefore, expertise in one of the following domains is required for this position: 1) Advanced imaging protocols with fMRI and/or PET; 2) Genomics protocols; and/or 3) Inflammatory and immune markers. Wet lab space is available for this position, if needed, along with other research resources such as MRI and PET. Position reports directly to department Chair. Either a combination MD/PHD or MD alone with substantive translational research expertise is required for this position. In addition, a strong track record as Principal Investigator in designing, completing, and publishing translational clinical trials is required. The position also requires the ability to manage and grow a research team within in a clinical environment.
