The Sr. Director of Academic Operationswill oversee the daily academic operations of the college. The Sr. Director of Academic Operations will oversee the daily academic operations of the college. Theywill be responsible for the business functions within the departments and programs, including human resources management, academic operations, strategic planning, and project management. Theywill support college leaders to improve efficiency with processes and systems to enhance student and faculty experiences. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Academics: Support and monitor the program assessment process for JCHP programs Collaborate with leaders to support their programmatic accreditation process Lead academic-related functions for JCHP such as managing the pre-matriculation process, academic calendar, course catalog, and other projects Serve on relevant college and university committees Administration: Collaborate with leaders in the hiring and onboarding process for faculty and staff Supervise the Manager of Academic Operations and other necessary personnel Provide guidance for departmental administrative staff members Academic Operations: Manage and optimize best practices for various financial, human resources, contractual, and academic systems Support to streamline daily operations efficiently throughout the college in collaboration with other departments and programs Manage housing contracts for students during clinical placements Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson. Masterrsquo;s degree in business administration/management, education administration, or other related field is required. ExperienceRequiements: Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience Knowledge and experience in health professions education or higher education administration Knowledge and expertise in budgeting and financial planning Advanced experience with technology and data management Strong attention to detail skills Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to confidentially work with a wide variety of learners, educators, and administrators.
