HS diploma

3 years of experience in leading projects or teams, preferably in technology delivery in healthcare setting.

5+ years in clinical information systems experience in the healthcare marketplace preferred. College degree preferred in Information Systems or related area.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Responsible for the selection, development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of IT systems. Manages and directs the activities of ISamp;T staff across the enterprise. Provide day to day oversight and direction for current projects. Working closely with leadership; provide suggestions to improve technology solutions. Provide input into strategic decisions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Manages projects to successful completion while promoting teamwork.
• Evaluates and oversees allocation of resources in response to client requests in conjunction with departmental and organizational priorities.
• Works in partnership with clients to assess their tactical and strategic business needs; advises clients on information technology options, costs and benefits to support their business objectives.
• Manages administrative activities for their respective area of responsibility; including but not limited to budget recommendations, staff training, status reporting, and performance appraisals.
• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
