The Department of Medical Oncology of The Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center (SKCC) is seeking a bone marrow transplant, cellular therapy or myeloma physician leaders to join its growing department. The successful candidate for this position will work in close collaboration with Dr. Gergis and the BMT team to lead the clinical research program and grow its specialty programs. The position will require an individual with exceptional research track record and a demonstrated ability to lead an expansive clinical and research portfolio. This individual will provide ongoing supervision of a number of ongoing research projects, develop new high impact clinical trials, help publish the unique experiences, and build the clinical portfolio and patient populations of the program. One of the responsibilities of the role will be to significantly contribute to the growth of the BMT research program at Jefferson and SKCC. Ideally, the successful candidate will bring a national reputation/presence that will also fuel the growth of the program. Additionally, by working closely with SKCC leadership, the successful candidate will be involved in designing an academic programsconsistent and aligned with the requirements for NCI cancer center designation, identifying new growth opportunities, and assuring the maintenance and continuous assessment of consistently high-quality performance of care to enhance referral relationships and support cross disciplinary academic programs. This is an exceptional opportunity for a BMT or Myeloma physician to be part of a program poised for transformational growth at a widely recognized Cancer Center.
