The Department of Neurosurgery Clinical Research Coordinator (2 positions available)

The Department of Neurosurgery at Thomas Jefferson University has a full-time opening to join our team as a Clinical Research Coordinator. As a Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the conduct of clinical trials at Jefferson and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple research projects. You will have the opportunity to interact with researchers working on both Industry Sponsored and Investigator Initiated studies within the Vascular, Spine, Critical Care and Tumor Divisions. The majority of our studies are interventional, and coordinators are patient facing and are involved in all aspects of running studies. Clinical Research Coordinators screen and identify potential patients, schedule and run study visits, collect and process biospecimens, and record research data through chart reviews and patient interviews. As a member of the team, you will be working with other Coordinators who support each other on multiple studies.

This position carries the additional opportunity to participate in an on-call rotation of coordinators who conduct after hours and weekend enrollments for critical care studies. Availability to accept on call shifts and work overtime/flexible hours while on call is a requirement for the position.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent;High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of relevant experience or Bachelorrsquo;s degree/Masterrsquo;s degree and previous experience preferred.
