GENERAL FUNCTION

The Master Data specialist is responsible for maintaining and updating critical product information in various systems to support new product introductions and day to day production. The Master Data Specialist will create and maintain data flows and processes, with an understanding of how that data interfaces within the entire organization and interacts with other systems and processes. They will operate in a fast-paced environment - being involved directly and indirectly in projects that will drive continuous change in the company.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Master data set ups of new products introductions (annually 2,500+ on average) in multiple systems
  • Create and maintain data flows and processes
  • Assist in development and implementation of tools, processes, and procedures that will affect all master data
  • Keep multiple high priority tasks on target to meet critical deadlines
  • Partner with key teams to implement new business tools and processes focused on process improvements.
  • Aligns cross functional team about new products (stage and gate process) for LMS data setup.
  • Build workflows, processes, and instructions.
  • Troubleshoots LMS data / technical issues and makes/suggests necessary changes in make and route and POS systems
  • Identify, design and plan projects to gain opportunities and improve the status quo.
  • Responsible for establishing priorities on the LMS setup for NPI through constant feedback from brands and RxO facilities working closely with NPI/Engineering and labs.
  • Manages reporting and planning for Rx labs, Rx vendors working with his/her team.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics or experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of SAP (SAP AFS, Retail, or FMS preferred), Business Objects and SQL Server.
  • Knowledge and understanding of SAP master data functions.
  • Ability to have significant interaction with the business as well as the ability to work independently with strong analytical/problem solving skills e.g. Report analysis, Data analysis, Communication analysis, Data maintenance and compliance, etc.
  • 2+ years with data analysis, problem identification and solution presentation
  • Experience in using all the Microsoft Tools - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Ability to interpret and explain data/analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize
