Job Summary

The student assistant will support the senior marketing leadership team in the development of brand research, usage and promotion.

Duties:

  • Assist in monitoring marketing programs and developing ways to improve those campaigns
  • Supports the development of brand research, logo guides and social media
  • Submit ideas for experimental marketing promotional programs
  • Be available as a resource for senior marketing professionals who need assistance with completing large projects
  • Participate in brainstorms sessions with the internal team to come up with ideas to promote FIU gear.
  • Draft social media posts for #RepFIU which is a campaign to promote branded gear.
  • Work with Canva for graphic and template development and help maintain the central Canva account with logos, images, and templates for units.
  • Organize databases in Excel including maintaining lists, updating, and filtering contacts, etc.

Who May Apply

Students enrolled at FIU, who have been awarded Federal Work Study (FWS) as part of their Financial Aid Award package.

Student must be enrolled with a minimum of six (6) credit hours in a course of study leading to a degree or a Financial Aid eligible certificate, during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.

Upon graduating, FWS employment must end.

Work Schedule

Hours will vary based on class schedule and needs of the department.
