Job Summary

The Wolfe University Center at the Biscayne Bay Campus is recruiting for a student to join their reservations team. The Student Desk Attendant is able to

Duties Include:

  • Answer phones courteously and according to set standards
  • Provide direction to visitors within the building
  • Provide a high level of customer service to all visitors, students, staff and faculty
  • Attend all required training at the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters
  • Act as an information source to students, staff, faculty and visitors

  • Previous experience as a Desk Attendant preferred
Who May Apply

  • Students enrolled at FIU, who have been awarded Federal Work Study (FWS) as part of their Financial Aid Award package.
  • Student must be enrolled with a minimum of six (6) credit hours in a course of study leading to a degree or a Financial Aid eligible certificate, during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
  • Upon credits decreasing, award being canceled, or graduating, FWS employment must end.
Work Schedule

Hours will vary based on class schedule and needs of the department.
