The Department of Capital Markets Lap in the College of Business is currently seeking a Truist Fellow Student Assistant to join their team of professionals.
To create a new horizon in financial literacy education and outreach.Our model will complement the College's vision and strategy to accelerate learning, innovation and entrepreneurship through technology assisted learning (TAL). This initiative generates cross-discipline teams of exceptional teachers, innovators, scholars and students who create new disruptive TAL models to engage students on a deeper level.

Duties to include:

• Administer instructional sessions and workshops in the community and on campus through electronic mediums from the CML.
• Provide instructional support for the FIU student programs and the parent program.
• Serve as a liaison between the university and the participating high schools.
• Travel to and conduct financial literacy instruction in area high schools.
• Maintains records of participation for each track of the program and within each school.
• Promote the program throughout the community.
• Assists in content creation for development of class presentations.
• Creates test banks for use by teachers.
• Creates class modules as engaging,clear and concise.
• Continuously improves curriculum based on feedback from teachers and students

• Enrolled as FIU Undergraduate Business student.
• Excellent presentation skills with ability to animate slides in power point.
• Fully proficient in Office suite.
• Extensive knowledge of financial products, services, systems, financial innovations.

Student Assistant.

• Applicants must be currently enrolled as a student at FIU with a minimum of six (6) credits as an Undergraduate student or three (3) credits as a Graduate student during the Fall and Spring semesters.
• During the Summer semesters, Students need only remain enrolled and are not required to take credit hours, but cannot have graduated.
• Upon decreasing credit hours or graduating, student employment must end.

• 20 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• Between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Occasionally nights and weekends.
• Travel to high schools.
• We offer mileage reimbursement for events outside the Modesto Maidique Campus.

$20.00/hour
