Florida International University College of Law Library seeks a creative, enthusiastic, and innovative law librarian to join our team as the Head of Instructional Services Law Librarian. This position is responsible for engaging the College of Law and FIU community through instruction on law library services and legal research in a variety of settings. The Head of Instructional Services will administer a curriculum of instructional programs and courses from the FIU Law Library, utilizing existing and emerging instructional and library services technologies. This law librarian will be expected to teach the upper-division Advanced Legal Research courses in the JD and other auxiliary programs, and other similar for-credit courses as they are developed. Additionally, this position will provide subject-specific and legal research instruction as an FIU Law Librarian, supporting Legal Skills and Values, experiential and seminar courses, as well as co-curricular programs. As a member of a forward-thinking library valued for its responsive and evolving services, the successful candidate will have practical law librarianship experience, with a strong foundation in research and reference support services in an academic law library, and dedication to innovation in the provision of law library services.
