Job Information

PI Stacy Frazier, Ph.D. (https://nafasi.fiu.edu), in the Department of Psychology, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Associate to help direct a newly funded one-year NIMH R56 grant entitled, "Advancing Health Equity through Park Afterschool Programs." We are partnering with Miami Dade Parks Recreation and Open Spaces Department to study through interviews and observations: (1) what it takes for afterschool providers to carry knowledge consumed from online and in-person training (informed by the Cognitive Triangle) into their daily work, and (2) what it takes for knowledge action to influence provider wellness and relationships with youth.

Candidates should have a PhD in psychology, education, public health, or related discipline. Experience in academic-community engagement, children's services research, and qualitative methods is valued. Salary is commensurate with experience. Start date is as soon as possible.
