Position Summary
The Department of Urology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a board certified/board eligible surgeon for a full-time faculty position in the Department. This is an open-rank recruitment; academic rank will be awarded at a level commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will preferably have significant experience and/or fellowship training in Urologic Oncology. The individual must be vested in teaching as they will serve in the training and education of fellows, residents, and medical students in the department
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
MD or DO required. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine within the state of North Carolina.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Clinical interest in focal therapy and emerging technologies and academic interest in community engagement and/or health disparities are of particular interest. Fellowship trained in Urologic Oncology is also preferred.
