In this role, you have the opportunity to travel to 79 of our properties, bringing your leadership, integrity, and innovative spirit to each unique location. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work onsite for up to 30 days, followed by a full week at home. During your onsite periods, you'll enjoy a regular schedule of 5 days a week, ensuring you maintain a balanced and predictable routine. This unique arrangement allows you to immerse yourself in our team environment while also giving you quality time at home to recharge. The Taskforce Chief Engineer will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
Prior Experience Required: 5+ years of engineering experience to include mechanical, electrical and plumbing Prior supervisory/leadership experience Prior responsibility for a department budget with a fundamental understanding of a P&L statement, labor costs and other R&M expenses Experience in managing utilities and energy systems Understanding of capital planning and replacement cycles Experience with NFPA fire code and life safety systems, controls Licenses/ Certification Required: Level 1 Mechanical Certification Technology Required: Knowledge of computer equipment, basic telephony and IT background. Ability to use web-based applications for ordering, scheduling, CMMS systems experience. Travel: 100% Physical: Lifting up to 50lbs occasionally Lifting up to 15lbs regularly, standing, bending, pushing and/or pulling.
