DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plans delivery by organizing truck loads and routing schedules
  • Calls external customers to coordinate deliveries and provide great customer service
  • Works closely with drivers to ensure the load are handled in the most productive manner
  • Communicates all manifests, add-ons or changes for loaders, drivers and customers
  • Works closely with Supervisor and Team Leadsto ensure accurate shipments
  • Assist drivers with any questions, concerns or variances on their load
  • Coordinate with line carriers to ensure on time delivery of product
  • Notify internal customers of variances such as back orders or delays and respond to inquiries
  • Record and update deliveries in Oracle (12) and Excel spreadsheets
  • Ability to work independently with the skill to ascertain work-load priorities, define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Verbal ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers, managers, and customers
  • Ability to read, interpret and train others on documents such as shipping instructions and procedural manuals
  • Ability to understand units of measure as applicable
  • Must be proficient with computer system; able to navigate, enter, and manage data on computer systems (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years clerical and/or customer service experience preferred
  • 1-2 years of logistics or routing experience preferred
  • 2+ years of shipping experience required

The US base pay range for this full-time position is $20.00 - $24.00 per hour + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+hours per week.
