Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a maintenance technician to join our Facilities team. The technician will be responsible for locations throughout the Greater Philadelphia region, including NJ and DE. Position Details * Become familiar with the policies and procedures that is associated with Merakey. Comply with these policies and procedures in carrying out all aspects of the job. * Be directly responsible and report to the Maintenance Manager * Comply with work schedule. Call the program to report absence or lateness of work. * Complete daily work assignments made by program supervisor. * Attend periodic staff meetings and mandatory in-service trainings. * Uphold the missions, values and philosophy for Service of Merakey and uphold the general standard of professional conduct that relates to the position. * Assume on-call coverage for emergency maintenance responsibilities. * Able to work with Power tools and equipment safely and efficiently. * Proficient performing desk and furniture repair * Proficient performing surface preparation and paint * Proficient performing wall and ceiling tile repair * Proficient performing electrical repairs. * Proficient performing roof repairs * Proficient performing repairs to the HVAC system, ongoing maintenance * Proficient performing parking lot repair and maintenance * Proficient performing plumbing repair and maintenance * Proficient performing lock repairs * Proficient performing necessary renovations and upgrades to the physical plant. * Proficient performing all types of home and building maintenance. * Perform walkthrough inspections of sites, report and address repairs in a timely manner. * Perform assigned projects while working with other or independently.
