HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

We believe in Subject Matter Expertise and code ownership. We keep the process simple, so developers can focus on code. With minimum overhead, developers interact directly with Product Managers, peer designers, and the QA team. If you are proud of your code and it is of great quality, you belong on our team.

We have a wealth of growth opportunities which may include:



  • Data path (including network processor)
  • Control plane protocols (IP/MPLS)
  • OAM (CFM, EFM, TWAMP, Performance Monitoring)
  • Timing (PTP, NTP, SyncE, SETS, BITS, and GNSS)
  • Security and Quantum ready encryption (IPSEC, MacSec, Network Group Encryption, Anysec, OpenSSL, FIPS, NIAPS)
  • PHY and Optics (Ethernet PHY, MAC, SerDes, Clock Recovery, 100/400G Optical Transceivers)
  • L2 and L3 VPN as well as legacy services (CESoPSN, Serial, TDM, Ethernet PW, IP PW, and more)


Qualifications



  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Computer engineering, Computer Science, Electrical engineering equivalent or better.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ is preferred.
  • Experience with Python/Perl/TCL/Linux is an asset
  • Knowledge of networking/communications is desirable
  • Knowledge of real-time software/operating systems is an asset
  • Demonstrated track record of excellence.
  • Ability to work well independently but also as part of a team
  • Hands-on experience with IP routers and/or IP test tools is appealing.
  • Previous Nokia co-op or intern experience is preferred, but not required.
