OTC is searching for an AP Clerk Lead to join our wonderful team here in Columbus!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Main point of contact for 2 segments
  • Train and coach AP staff members
  • Manage vendors that require special handling - CREST, SMC, etc.
  • Access to banking portal
  • Serve as Backup to AP Manager on payment runs
  • Review, sort and match invoices and check requests
  • Prepare and process accounts payable checks
  • Reconciliation of payments
  • Prepare analysis of accounts
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Correspond with internal customers and external vendors on AP inquiries
  • Produce monthly reports as requested
  • Assist in month end closing
  • Monitor overall AP aging to ensure on-time payments to vendors
  • Analyze invoices that do not auto-vouch and assist in long-term solutions to decrease the volume of invoices that need manually processed
  • Compliance with Company Policies & Procedures



Required Experience/Qualifications:


  • Associates Degree
  • 5+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable
  • Experience with OCR Technology
  • Experience with large ERP systems
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures
  • Excellent Analytical Skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work with a team
  • Dependable and highly motivated individual
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
