Position Summary

The Fundraising and Board Support role provides administrative support to Executive Director and the Board.

Essential Job Duties:



  • Ensure interactions reflect Kids First, Safety, Family, Relationships, Meaningful Participation, Challenge and Engaged Environment and Community Involvement,
  • Interactions with youth shall maintain an environment that provides a physically/emotionally safe space for youth and effective learning, growth, and progress toward individualize goals,
  • Model supportive, consistent, respectful behavior with all parties to ensure an atmosphere that fosters healthy relationships, trust, and mutual respect; set clear boundaries and provide observations and reflection to youth while fostering equity and diversity,
  • Manage the agenda and minutes related to fundraising,
  • May reach out or support efforts to connect with businesses regarding potential sponsorships,
  • Ensure fundraising and board documentation is properly and accurately completed,
  • May address potential donor questions about the fundraiser or AMIkids,
  • Create/obtain and provide related reports to applicable individuals,
  • Ensure donor records are provided to Resource Development for tracking purposes and future correspondence,
  • Assist or own the arrangements for planned fundraising events,
  • Assist with Grants; manage grant tracking & reporting,
  • Generate newsletters,
  • Attend and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications by national recognized organization,
  • Administer first aid and CPR during emergencies in accordance with National standards,
  • Maintain appropriate crisis intervention/de-escalation training and certification,
  • Prevent and intervene in youth altercations and incidents, using the authorized state mandated training methods,
  • Transport youth and may drive for other work-related tasks,
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.


Minimum Education, Training and Experience



  • High School Diploma or equivalent,
  • One (1) year related experience,
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office.
