Job Summary:

The Valuation & Capital Market Analysis Associate - Fixed Assets is responsible for utilizing previously obtained educational background, along with established organizational and project management skills to successfully service clients of the Valuation & Capital Market Analysis group. In this role, the Associate will work within a team environment to actively assist in the analysis and resolution of client matters while taking direction and receiving guidance from experienced staff and management members. The Associate will be involved in all stages of client management including identification of potential valuation issues, construction of valuation modeling and completion of industry and client research, along with conduction of on-site inspections.

Job Duties:



  • Assists in the performance of well-documented valuation analyses and reports for clients in numerous industries
  • Supports the development of valuation models in Excel and reports in Word for various types of machinery and equipment (personal property) assets
  • Performs market and economic research on various equipment types and industries
  • Assists with on-site inspections at client locations to observe personal property and assist in data collection
  • Intermediate travel required
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education:



  • Bachelor's degree, required; with a focus in Engineering, Accounting, or a technical degree from an accredited college/university, preferred


Experience:



  • Prior experience (internship or work study) in valuation, finance, or engineering, preferred
  • Manufacturing/ machinery and equipment experience, preferred


License/Certifications:



  • N/A


Software:



  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word, required


Language:



  • N/A

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

California Range: $65,000 - $82,000
Colorado Range: $56,000 - $66,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $72,000 - $78,000
Washington Range: $65,000 - $82,000
