Position Overview


Primary Purpose of the Position
The Department of Exercise Physiology seeks applicants to teach an undergraduate course in the School of Health Sciences for the 2024-2025 Academic Year.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit

Exercise Physiology merges the scientific mind with the analysis of exercise. Students will master a physiological and anatomical knowledge base, gain proficiency in scientific writing, and competently execute many "hands-on" laboratory techniques using state-of-the-art equipment. Students will have the opportunity to explore the exercise testing laboratory, learning to understand how the human body is influenced by exercise.

Master's degree in exercise physiology, exercise science, kinesiology, health education, nutrition or health-related discipline and two years of related teaching or experience at the university level; or equivalent combination of teaching, training and experience.
