| Primary Purpose of the Position |
The Department of Exercise Physiology seeks applicants to teach an undergraduate course in the School of Health Sciences for the 2024-2025 Academic Year. |
| Primary Function of Organizational Unit |
Exercise Physiology merges the scientific mind with the analysis of exercise. Students will master a physiological and anatomical knowledge base, gain proficiency in scientific writing, and competently execute many "hands-on" laboratory techniques using state-of-the-art equipment. Students will have the opportunity to explore the exercise testing laboratory, learning to understand how the human body is influenced by exercise. |

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduates; developing and managing the class syllabus and ensuring that the syllabus meets department and university standards; planning and creating lectures, in-class discussions and assignments; grading assigned papers, quizzes and exams; assessing grades for students based on participation, performance in class, assignments and examinations; collaborating with colleagues on course curriculum; and advising students on how to be successful in class. |
