ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review territory data to determine and prioritize new customers to target, as well as customers with existing SLA agreements in need of renewal. Top priority will be given to Rite-Hite equipment customers who do not have SLA agreements currently, especially Rite-Hite National Service Accounts.
  • Create territory plan to grow territory. This will include both call plans and territory marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinates territory activities with FSR and NERs to prevent overlap of activity.
  • Prospects and sets appointments with customers.
  • Makes sales calls, filing gaps in schedule with cold calls and follow up calls. In a normal week (5 full days), it is expected that a minimum of 30 unique customer visits will be conducted by the Rep.
  • Presents SLA options to customers and creates quotes.
  • Works with Service Department to assess gaps in ability to execute SLA, coordinating sales activities with the capability of the Service Department.
  • For new customers,coordinates introductions and account hand off to other territory reps (FSR, NER, IPS)
  • Promotes Rite Hite products daily utilizing Rite Source and Rite Hite literature.
  • Manages Rite-Hite National Service (RHNS) SLA accounts within the territory, acting as point of contact for the account, resolving challenges to servicing them, and expanding SLA coverage within account.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in sales or marketing-related field, and
  • Prior sales experience, such as might be gained in an internship or summer jobs, or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior cold calling experience highly desirable

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Good organization, planning, and time management skills
  • Good mechanical aptitude is helpful
  • Powerful work ethic is required
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prior Salesforce experience is helpful, and must attain proficiency in Salesforce and Servicemax

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None

The base salary range for this position is $52, 583 - $78,789. We take geographic differentials into consideration in areas of higher cost of living. We offer nine paid holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve). New employees are eligible for up to two weeks of vacation (pro-rated based on hire date within 1st year of employment). We offer additional paid time off based on tenure. Based on time in the job, you will be eligible for additional PTO (vacation, sick leave, etc.). We offer 52 hours PTO (1 hour for every 40 worked) to employees in Washington.
